Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
ChildTales is designed for use by parents/guardians with their children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

We use the following third-party services to provide our app:
- Google Gemini: For AI story and image generation (text prompts only, no personal data)
- ElevenLabs: For voice narration (story text only, no personal data)
- Cloudflare: For secure data storage and delivery
- RevenueCat: For subscription management (if applicable)
These services process only the content necessary for their function and do not receive personal information about your child.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your story library
- Opt out of non-essential communications
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- Profile information is deleted immediately
- Stories and generated content are deleted within 30 days
- Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for service improvement
Advertising
ChildTales does not display advertisements. We believe in providing a safe, distraction-free environment for children. Our revenue comes solely from optional premium subscriptions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
